The project HITZE/HEAT addresses heat from different perspectives as social temperature, atmospheric form, as an area of high pressure of the in between, as a melting of genre boundaries, as a reflow of relationship networks. It addresses the fact that heat is a physical phenomenon that appears subjective and objective at the same time and is not only associated with the physical perception of high temperatures. The project HITZE/HEAT takes place in the award-winning project space “Kotti-Shop”, run by Julia Brunner and Stefan Endewardt. The art of Kotti-Shop/SuperFuture, which is developed together with the neighbors, is process-oriented, closely connected to the urban environment and pursues an emancipatory claim. The project HEAT will feature an expansive installation by Jenny Brockmann, an artist talk, and a ‚Songs of Heat‘ evening, among other things.
